Amandine and Yannick have created a barbecue near Vigan that combines digital technology and engineering.

Yannick Bonfort grew up in Vigan, he is 35 years old and trained as an industrial engineering apprentice in Lyon at the Centre for Higher Industrial Studies (Cesi), with a placement at Alstom.

He worked in large French companies for three months in China and then in Quebec, where he was able to understand all the departments involved in product design: research and development, purchasing, and sales. Partnered with Amandine Berthezene, they wanted to combine their skills within an object symbolising a way of life that is dear to them: gathering with family and friends around a barbecue. They designed a product with a unique design, noble materials, and sought-after technical specifications.

In March 2020, back in the Cévennes, they launched the Kamado Quatro barbecue, an innovative barbecue plancha fire pit that was awarded this year with the prestigious German Design Award 2024.

They also created a cooking tools brand COEO, which means "I bring together" in Latin, and thanks to all this, they are expanding internationally. They live in Molières-Cavaillac and sell their products on the website. coeo-design.com/.

This is where they are revolutionising the already well-established world of barbecues after a detour to the Paris Fair last May. Their range started with the brazier, but today what is notable is the Kamado Quatro barbecue which has received three design awards (presented in video: www.youtube.com/watch). The Kamado Quatro has been designed for all cooking enthusiasts, those who want to experiment, create, and stand out with an extraordinary variety of cooking methods.
