With its large 82 cm firebox, it radiates generous warmth and allows you to fully enjoy outdoor evenings, whether with family or friends.
The TRIO is available in several models, allowing you to choose the height, diameter, and finish that best suit your needs. You can even create your own outdoor kitchen with modular furniture.
The TRIO82 model is compact and requires slightly less space than the TRIO98. It is particularly popular for smaller outdoor areas.
The choice between an 82 cm or 98 cm diameter fire pit depends on how you intend to use it and the available space. Here are a few things to consider:
Space size: If you have a large outdoor space, a 98cm fire pit might be more suitable. It will be larger and offer better heat distribution. For a smaller space, an 82cm model might be more appropriate to avoid clutter.
Number of people: In terms of cooking capacity, it all depends on what you're cooking and your cooking skills. If you want to gather around the fire pit with several people, the 82cm model can accommodate 6-8 people, while the 98cm model can accommodate 10-12 people.
Heat output: A larger fire pit, like the 98cm model, will generally give off more heat, which can be useful if you want to heat a larger area.
Wood or charcoal consumption: A larger fire pit will require more fuel to operate optimally. If you prefer more moderate consumption, a smaller fire pit might be better. Log size: the 82 and 98 diameters both allow the use of standard size logs of 30cm or 50cm.
If you have a large space and plan to host groups of several people, a 98cm model would probably be more suitable. If you're looking for something more compact or fuel-efficient, opt for an 82cm model.
Quick and easy steps for maintaining and extending the life of your plancha grill:
The TRIO plancha is quick to clean: while the fire is still lit, scrape off food residue with the professional spatula and then push it into the center of the firebox so that it is burned off by the heat.
To preserve your plancha for many years, season it regularly by applying vegetable oil or beeswax before and after each use to prevent corrosion.
No ash drawer for greater longevity! Ashes are removed with a shovel or an ash vacuum. Due to the inconvenience they cause, we have eliminated the need for an ash drawer.
Don't worry about rain! Water drains naturally through the double wall, following the same path as rising air.
A fire pit with a griddle combines the advantages of a traditional fire pit with those of a griddle cooking surface, making it a versatile piece of outdoor equipment.
Dual function: heat and cooking
Outdoor heating: Like any fire pit, it provides a source of heat outdoors, creating a warm atmosphere around the fire.
Cooking: you can prepare meals outdoors on the plancha.
Healthy and controlled cooking: plancha cooking is known to be healthier than traditional barbecuing, as it requires little oil and reduces the risk of direct contact with flames, thus limiting potentially harmful substances. The heat is evenly distributed across the cooking surface, allowing food to cook evenly and avoiding localized burning.
Conviviality: the brazier-plancha allows you to cook as a group, with everyone able to participate or supervise the cooking around the brazier. It creates a convivial atmosphere where the meal becomes a social activity as well as a simple culinary experience. After the meal, the brazier continues to serve as a source of heat, prolonging moments of sharing and relaxation.
Cooking versatility: the plancha offers great flexibility in the type of dishes you can cook, from breakfast to tapas to grilled meats.

The difference between a BBQ grill (also called a TRIO or grill with integrated griddle) and a barbecue lies in how they cook food, their structure, and their primary use.

Use well-dried oak or beech.
Be careful when using certain types of wood, such as tropical hardwoods. These woods generate too much heat, which can cause the griddle to warp.
It is your responsibility to research the origin of the wood you use and its suitability for cooking to avoid endangering your health.
We do not recommend using charcoal, as it will not generate enough heat to warm the griddle to the correct temperature. If you wish to use charcoal, it is best to combine it with wood to preheat the fire pit or to add more fuel to the fire and maintain a good bed of embers.
Corten steel, also known as weathering steel, is a type of steel distinguished by its ability to naturally form a protective layer of rust when exposed to air and weathering. This surface rust layer acts as a barrier against corrosion, preventing further degradation of the steel.

The COEO TRIO 3-in-1 fire pit is the only fire pit in the world to have received the prestigious iF Design Award. Created in 2020 by the French brand COEO, the TRIO fire pit/griddle/barbecue is recognized for its design and performance..
⚠️ Note for coastal areas: black lacquered steel fire pits are not the most suitable for seaside locations. Salt air accelerates their corrosion, even with treatment. Regular maintenance is recommended, or consider Corten steel.;
