COEO is a Southern French brand specialized in the design of cooking tools, accessories, and stainless steel kitchen furniture for both private individuals and professionals; yet beyond this functional definition, it above all embodies a vision born in a specific moment, placing conviviality, technical expertise, and design at the core of a unified approach, where each product becomes a meeting point between real-world use, high standards of quality, and the pleasure of cooking.
A unique birth during the lockdown of March 2020
The story of COEO begins in an exceptional context, that of the lockdown in March 2020, a period during which daily habits were disrupted, social interactions were limited, and the relationship with time was profoundly altered, leading many people to rediscover essential activities like cooking, no longer just as a necessity, but as a moment of creation, sharing, and grounding.
It is precisely in this atmosphere that COEO is born, with a simple yet structuring idea: to design cooking tools capable of recreating connections, placing fire and cooking at the centre of human interactions, and offering objects technically advanced enough to accompany these moments over time, without compromising on quality or use.
COEO: a name full of meaning and vision
The name COEO is not a trivial choice, as it means "to gather", "to come together", and directly reflects the founding intention of the brand, namely to create products that promote meeting, exchange, and conviviality, in a logic where cooking becomes a pretext for sharing time together.
This dimension is omnipresent in the design of products, which are not only thought of as technical objects, but as supports for experience, around which collective moments are structured, whether it is a family meal, an evening with friends, or a professional use.
A brand deeply rooted in the South of France
COEO fully claims its identity as a brand from the South of France, a territory where outdoor cooking, fire, and shared meals are an integral part of the local culture, and where time is taken to cook, to host, and to enjoy a living environment marked by light, nature, and conviviality.
This anchoring is not limited to a geographical origin, but directly influences the way products are conceived, in an approach that prioritises:
- uses adapted to the outdoors
- resistance to climatic conditions
- a sober and timeless aesthetic
- a coherence between form and function
Thus, COEO is part of a tradition while bringing a contemporary, more technical and structured approach.
The COEO logo: a representation of the territory and its identity
The COEO logo is designed as a true territorial signature, representing two emblematic elements of the local landscape: Pic Saint-Loup and Hortus, which embody both the geography, culture, and identity of the South of France.
Through this graphic choice, COEO asserts a clear intention: to inscribe its products in a collective imagination, where the landscape, the terroir, and the local culture become constitutive elements of the brand's identity.
A comprehensive approach combining engineering, design and gastronomy
What distinguishes COEO from many other brands lies in its ability to coherently articulate three complementary dimensions, which are rarely brought together with such balance: engineering, design and gastronomy, each nourishing and reinforcing the others in a holistic design logic.
Engineering ensures performance, durability and control of technical constraints, particularly in terms of thermal management, material strength and ergonomics, while design acts not as a decorative element, but as a direct consequence of these technical choices, aiming to make products readable, coherent and pleasant to use.
Gastronomy, for its part, constitutes the final point of this approach, giving meaning to the object, which only fully exists in its use, that is to say in the preparation of food, the sharing of meals and the culinary experience as a whole.
A complete range: cooking tools, accessories and stainless steel kitchens
Since its creation, COEO has developed a diverse range that is not limited to fire pits, but extends to a coherent set of products that allow for the structuring of an outdoor or professional kitchen space, including:
- fire pits and planchas designed for intensive use
- cooking accessories suited to different uses
- furniture and outdoor kitchens in stainless steel
The choice of stainless steel is part of a logic of durability and resistance, allowing it to meet the constraints of outdoor use while maintaining a clean and timeless aesthetic, which corresponds to the overall vision of the brand.
Collaborations with chefs to validate uses
In a process of continuous improvement and confrontation with reality, COEO also relies on partnerships with chefs, who use the products in demanding conditions, thus validating technical choices and adjusting details based on feedback.
These collaborations play a key role in the brand's credibility, ensuring that the products are not only well-designed on paper but truly adapted to the needs of users, whether they are amateurs or professionals.
A sustainable vision focused on experience and sharing
Beyond the products, COEO carries a vision that goes beyond the simple manufacture of cooking equipment, seeking to recreate spaces and moments where one takes the time to cook, to meet and to share, in a logic that goes against the speed and standardisation of contemporary uses.
In this perspective, each product becomes an element of a larger whole, aiming to promote :
- friendliness
- the pleasure of cooking
- transmission
- social connection
Conclusion
COEO thus establishes itself as a brand from the South of France that is both technical, coherent and deeply rooted in a way of life, born in a particular context but built on solid foundations, where every choice – from the name to the design, from the logo to the materials – contributes to a global vision aimed at bringing people together around cooking.
In a market where the offering is often fragmented between aesthetics and performance, COEO proposes a structured approach, where engineering, design and gastronomy converge to give birth to products that are not just meant to be used, but that actively participate in the creation of shared moments.

Our logo is an ode to the South of France. We chose to represent the Pic Saint-Loup for several reasons. The Pic Saint-Loup is an iconic summit in the south of France, at the heart of the Languedoc wine region. This peak, with its distinctive shapes, represents not only a geographical icon but also a strong cultural symbol of the Occitanie region.
The Pic Saint-Loup, and a natural symbol, rising to 658 metres, stands proudly above the Hérault plain. It is a major geographical landmark for locals and visitors, and it symbolises the anchoring of local culture in this Mediterranean landscape, between sea and mountains.
The Pic Saint-Loup, through its landscapes, its wine and its legends, is much more than just a peak: it is a symbol of the identity and culture of the south of France.
Yes, originating from the Cévennes, we are based in the South of France. We design all our products in-house and then entrust the manufacturing to factories based around the world.
The Pic-Saint-Loup dominates the Montpellier scrubland from its height of 658m. To the north, the mountain of Hortus and beyond, to the northwest, the view extends over the Cévennes. To the east, the plain of Nîmes and beyond the Rhône valley, the Ventoux, the Alpilles, the Luberon.
Located at 20 km north of Montpellier, between the Cévennes and the Mediterranean, Pic Saint-Loup, at an altitude of 658 metres, offers us an unobstructed view of the territory.
