Collection of your old appliance

In accordance with the regulations regarding waste from electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), this refrigerator must not be disposed of with household waste at the end of its life.

When purchasing this outdoor refrigerator, the customer can request the free collection of an equivalent used appliance in accordance with current regulations. Any request for collection must be made before the order is shipped to allow for the organisation of collection or direction to an approved recycling solution. 

Used electrical equipment contains recyclable materials that can be processed in specialised centres. Their selective collection contributes to the preservation of natural resources and the protection of the environment. 

Eco-contribution

An eco-contribution for WEEE may be applied in accordance with current regulations to finance the collection, treatment, and recycling of electrical and electronic equipment at the end of its life.

To ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of your built-in outdoor refrigerator, it is recommended to follow a few simple installation and usage rules. 

COMMISSIONING

Before first use, remove all packaging and clean the inside of the refrigerator with a soft cloth. After transporting or moving the appliance, allow it to stand upright for at least 30 minutes before plugging it in. Once connected to the power supply, let the refrigerator run empty for about an hour to reach its optimal operating temperature. 

INSTALLATION

Install the refrigerator on a stable and perfectly flat surface. To ensure good air circulation and effective cooling, allow sufficient ventilation space around the appliance. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight as well as proximity to heat sources such as a barbecue, a griddle, or an outdoor oven. 

TEMPERATURE SETTING

The thermostat allows you to easily adjust the internal temperature between 0°C and 10°C. For daily use, the mid-setting is generally recommended. During hot weather, it is possible to slightly increase the cooling intensity to maintain an optimal storage temperature. 

STORAGE OF DRINKS AND FOOD

To optimise the performance of the cooling system, avoid overloading the refrigerator. Leave enough space between products to allow for good circulation of cold air. It is also advisable to let hot food cool down before placing it in the appliance to limit energy consumption and maintain the stability of the internal temperature. 

DAILY USE

Limit prolonged openings of the door to maintain a consistent cold temperature and reduce electricity consumption. The glass door allows for quick visibility of the contents without frequent opening. This feature is particularly appreciated during outdoor meals and summer gatherings. 

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Always unplug the appliance before any cleaning operation. Only use a soft cloth with soapy water. Never use abrasive products, solvents, metal brushes or pressure cleaners that may damage stainless steel surfaces, seals or electrical components. After cleaning, thoroughly dry all surfaces. 

STORAGE TIPS

For better energy efficiency and optimal storage, keep drinks, ingredients and refrigerated foods at a temperature suitable for their use. Chilled drinks, sauces, marinades and products intended for barbecuing will benefit from a stable temperature throughout the day thanks to compressor cooling. 

IN CASE OF EXTENDED ABSENCE

If the refrigerator is not used for a long period, unplug it, completely empty its contents, clean the interior and then leave the door slightly ajar to prevent the formation of odours or moisture.

This warranty is granted exclusively to the first purchaser of the product and is neither transferable nor assignable in the event of resale or change of ownership.

Warranty exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear of the product.
• Damage resulting from improper installation or failure to follow the assembly and embedding instructions.
• Damage due to inappropriate, abusive or non-compliant use of the product.
• Defects or damage caused by a shock, a fall, a fire, a flood, lightning or any other external event.
• Damage resulting from a lack of maintenance, inappropriate cleaning or the use of corrosive products.
• Scratches, discolouration, signs of corrosion, impacts or aesthetic defects that do not affect the operation of the product.
• Interventions, modifications or repairs carried out by an unauthorised person.
• The costs of disassembly, reassembly, transport or reinstallation of the product.
• Damage related to insufficient ventilation or non-compliant installation of built-in appliances.

The warranty is applicable only to the first purchaser, upon presentation of the original purchase invoice. This warranty cannot be transferred to a subsequent owner of the product.
