HPL: A HIGH-END ALTERNATIVE TO WOOD

Made from HPL (High Pressure Laminate), these shelves benefit from a premium material widely used in urban furniture, outdoor fittings and demanding environments. HPL is made up of several layers of recycled kraft paper impregnated with thermosetting resins and then compressed under very high pressure and at high temperature. This process gives it exceptional density and remarkable durability over time.

MORE DURABLE THAN WOOD

Unlike wood, HPL:

• Does not grey over time.
• Requires no oil or treatment.
• Does not warp due to moisture.
• Resists climatic variations.
• Durably retains its original appearance.

You thus enjoy an aesthetic and high-performance product year after year without special maintenance.

MOISTURE AND WEATHER RESISTANCE

Designed for permanent outdoor use, HPL shelves perfectly resist rain, humidity, condensation and temperature fluctuations.

NO RISK OF MOULD

Unlike wooden shelves that can absorb moisture and degrade under a protective cover, HPL remains stable and intact in the face of humidity variations.

Its protected surface makes it waterproof and particularly suitable for outdoor use all year round.

HEAT RESISTANCE

The shelves can support hot dishes up to 100°C.

You can thus place dishes, casseroles, grills or hot accessories without fearing marks, blackening or warping often observed on wood.

A SIMPLE AND QUICK MAINTENANCE

Cleaning the shelves is particularly easy:

• Soft sponge.
• Soapy water.
• No specific product required.

Grease marks, cooking splashes, and dirt are quickly removed to keep a workspace always clean.

AN ECOLOGICAL SOLUTION

HPL is made from recycled kraft paper and high-performance resins. Its very high durability helps limit equipment replacement and contributes to a more responsible use of resources.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

USAGE PRECAUTIONS

HPL is particularly durable for everyday use. However, like any rigid material, a fall to the ground or the impact of a heavy object can cause a chip, crack, or breakage. It is recommended to avoid significant impacts to sustainably preserve your shelves.
